Mayo Youth Orchestra has forty members ranging in age from 10 to 25. Members come from all over county Mayo. If you are interested in joining the orchestra, please contact us at info@mayoconcertorchestra.ie for details of the application process.

Practice takes place every Saturday between 1 and 2 pm in St. Patrick’s NS, Gallow’s Hill, Castlebar.

The dress code for concerts comprises the following:

Ladies: black long-sleeved top, black skirt/dress/trousers, black shoes. Dresses or skirts must be below the knee. A turquoise sash is also worn (supplied).

Gentlemen: white shirt, black trousers, black jacket and black shoes. A black dickie-bow is also worn (supplied).
